December to Remember (part 1)

We have had an amazing December.  There has been so much excitement here in the house, the Pollies have pounced through the month with wonderful memories.  This will be a long post but, I promise to keep it as trim as possible...but you know me with the camera, I want to capture as much as I can!

Grandma Marilyn's Visit:
Grandma sailed in a few days before Christmas with her sled packed.
The Pollies were excited to spend time with her.
Movie night is always relaxing, it was perfect to have her with us...
especially when she brings the movies!

Jamie is our true cuddle bug!

Aubrey wanted to make her on Birthday Cake,
She choose to make a Jello No-bake Cheesecake.
She made it completely by herself!

We did add the cherries after this set, but she did a fantastic job!
As you know this is a pretty normal site here in our house...
Both Steven and Aubrey are playing a game
called "Clash of Clans"...they are even on the same team!

So back to Grandma's sled...

 two happy Pollies!
 Movies were great with Grandma!

This was the perfect time to cuddle.

Books are special too...especially this Lego book.

For Aubrey's Birthday Dinner...we went to Sake!

 Another treat when Grandma comes,
making the annual Ginger Bread House!

Jamie was excited about his "Chewy" Slippers...

They are pretty cool.
Jamie enjoyed helping Dad put together his Star Wars X-Wing.

 Thanks, Grandma!
We really appreciate you taking the time to spend with us.
We are glad you had a safe trip back!
 Our Decorations:

Remember the wreath I got from the mountains...well a sweet bird took it over.
At night he would fly out and scare us.
I moved the Blue Tree into the dining room this year!
The Santa Tree was back in the foyer.

This was the Pollie Tree...this tree was the funnest part of decorating,
they kept adding to it.
Our nativity...Aubrey added the stable from our building blocks,
I just did not have the heart to remove it.

 Our elf tree.
Our Auburn Tree in the playroom.
Aubrey's Tree..No Light/Light!
 And her new Lego's.

 My Tree.
 My Pig Tree.
Jamie's Crazy Tree..Steven even wired it to the curtain rod.

This year we gave out "Two Buck Chuck" to our friends this year,
but, until they were gone I used them for decoration on the pub table.

 Family Time:

We sat down for a game of Trouble, with the Pollies.

 Boy, she got me...

Cookies time, we made Cookies for Santa.

Sister girl even had her rollers in while we baked cookies.
All of the days are taken off the calendar...we made it to Christmas Eve.
Aubrey stayed right on top of Santa on the computer.

We made it Christmas Eve Service on time this year, and
we even choose to sit in the balcony.
Pastor Bryan gave an awesome service, and Rev. Jan taught that the letter "J"
using candy-canes,
stood for something other than "Jamie".
This is our favorite part of the service,
"Silent Night".

After the beautiful service we rushed out of the church, through the luminaries and to our car.

We had our little dessert party that we have every Christmas Eve.
We let the little ones get Sugar-Wasted,
while parents sipped on wine.
Then we sent everyone back home for Santa to come.

These are Jenn Darragh's sweets this year!
Totally Awesome!

After everyone left, the Pollies threw out some reindeer mix.

They set out the key for Santa.
They got the snacks ready for Santa.
More like played with Santa's food.

 Quick pose for me.

 They were so excited.

They snuggled in with Steven for a Christmas Story.

I love this one with Jamie yawning.
They were all excited to come down Christmas morning.

 New Hat...
 New Belt...
 Army man pants.
 My new treasure.

Do you think see was excited?
 Aubrey giving Daddy her gift.
I hate that this is blurry...but you can still see how proud she is.

 Furbies...

 Walkies-talkies!

 Fortune Cookies.

This was a awesome Christmas morning, and we have so much to share.
I will be busy working on more of our December to Remember.
