Friday finally.

So, the Polliwogs and I are home. This morning Aubrey was complaining about her sore throat. We let her go to school without knowing that she had Strep. On the way to work I told Steven that I had a light day and that I would try to get her to the doctor this afternoon. Sure enough, it was worse than we thought. She was not happy about the doctor stabbing her throat. However, we did stop and get her medicine, she has taken a double dose and should feel better tomorrow.

Jamie has battled an ear infection this week, he seems to be good, just snotty. He is a sweet baby, he is growing by the minute. We finally got home tonight and got the polliwogs bathed and mostly in the bed, Aubrey is still chillin' with Blues Clues.

Steven, whew...He has several grants to juggle right now. He is jumping into over, over, over time mode. He is writting all weekend. I am holding down the fort this weekend. Tonight, he worked late and is grabbing movie with Joel. This is kinda to clear his brain. He has to release that nerdiness every now and then, or else he tries to talk science to me and that is not pretty, because I just can't keep up! This weekend will be fun, or we will try to have fun without him.

So, notes on the Schwartz family. Sara and the kids are flying here this weekend to Charlotte. They will be with her parents for a few weeks until they can get somewhere to stay. Joel will be back with us sometime this week. He is so excited to see his girls, he has been here a month waiting to see them.

Sgetti Baby.

Do you remember the last time that you played with your noodles?

Today was Sgetti Night. Wednesday is one of our late nights however we found time to sit together and have dinner. We had a great time watching Jamie. Tonight Steven and Joel have been working on Joel's car, he has a head light out. It is nice to sit and watch TV and blog, with Sage sitting near me on the right and my diet coke on the left.

So, Jamie is into everything.

Joel cooked a great dinner Saturday night. Here is his proof!

Jamie is constantly after the cat food.

Aubrey and Steven have a new project. They are growing these flowers that she has been wanting to do for a few weeks.

So, Aubrey was pretending to be a butterfly and landing on her dad.

I suppose that Daddy's will do anything for those little girls.

What is your secret ingredient?

Girls are made of Sugar and Sprice and everything nice...Boys are made of Snips and snails, and puppy dogs tails.

With these ingredients, what is the secret ingredient that makes you special?

Aubrey's is caring. She cares so much about what she does and making people happy. She wants to make everyone happy!

Jamie's secret ingredient is ton of smiles. That is all that he does, it is the best thing to walk into his class room and see him. Once he sees you he has the biggest smile! It melts me.

I am still thinking about mine. Steven has a ton of secret ingredients! He is so perfectly made, it is like seeing warm cinnamon bun out of the oven with fresh frosting!

So, today is our late day. Steven left early and come home late. I got in about 6:00. By 7:15, I had both Polliwogs bathed, fed, teeth brushed, the trashed collected ready to go out, dishwasher emptied and the bottles made and ready for tomorrow. I busted a groove! It was nice that when Steve walked in he could read to Aubrey while I put Jamie down.

Here are a few pics from tonight.

Here are the boys waiting for Steven to come out of Aubrey's room. Everyone wants Daddy time.

So, this Jamie's favorite things right now. Let's start with the Cheerios.Next, he found the plastics. Yup! A new love.

Tonight was the first time he had his teeth brushed! He loved it.

Just look at these beauties!
Then there is Aubrey. She had a great day, she got to watch lots of movies!
Yeah even Dill got in a movie.
Jamie didn't last long, he is out.
Sage and Basil are on there way too.

Now Steven, Joel and I are watching "The Women". Yup, a chick flick!
