Super Girl and our Three Eyed Monster

Happy Halloween all! We have had a great day. This morning I got up and headed into Chapel Hill to do a 5k race this morning. "The Renegades" and I went. They are the running group that I am in here in the neighborhood. I love my girls. They make running fun.

Tonight we headed over to the Darragh's for pizza and cupcakes. Then we were out in the neighborhood. We had a blast.

Jamie and Connor...

Connor first trip out Trick or Treating!

Jamie's friend Mila, from the neighborhood, they are about 6 weeks apart.

We had a great time, Aubrey got plenty of candy. Jamie instead of saying "Trick or Treat" would say "nack...nack" aka, "Snack...Snack"! After Trick or Treating and giving out candy, we settled in for the night to watch "The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown", this is a Gray tradition that we started here about 3 years ago. Steven and I toasted our self for having such a great Halloween. So, time changes tomorrow and we are probably are not going to adapt very well, because the kids are still on our time. Oh, we will be up early.

Carving memories!

Today was a rough day. We went to get Flu shots...both pollies and both injections. I felt really bad so we had to make a quick trip to Wal-Mart for sympathy shot toys.

I think that they made out pretty well. Poor babies.

Tonight we carved memories...aka pumpkins. This is never my favorite thing. Steve loves this part of Halloween. I just smile. At least they are outside this time.

Then time for dessert, one last chance for S'mores!

Here are the end products...
The best for last, carving action for you. Happy Halloween, maybe more pics tomorrow.

Opps...it is Thursday and I haven't posted.

Monday we went to storytime and boy was it crowded. There wasn't much room left.
The ladies did such a great skit, and we love our storytime.

Tuesday we were back at dance, it was dress up night. Aubrey had her face painted. She had 3 classes tonight, in each class they painted a little more. This is the finished product!

As we came into the house tonight we had something jump in ahead of us. It was a visiting frog.
You know that this was an adventure that Aubrey had.

Then after playing, it was time for the frog to go to bed.

Shoes, need I say more? I suppose that he will have anything for shoes.

Jamie sneaking into the cat drawer for Dill. See Dill under the table watching him.

Aubrey playing with Magnets, more work than play I think!
Tomorrow Aubrey is out of school so, I had to take the day off. Poor Aubrey and Jamie, they have a doctors appointment, they are getting the flu shots...I feel bad taking them in for the injections. Aubrey is going to be really upset with me. Pray that it goes ok. So, now you have the full update and now we are ready for Halloween!

Southern Swope...back to our roots.

We made quick visit with Mimi and Papa. We thank you for the treats Mimi!

Aubrey's favorite Firefighter...Uncle Big Head!!!

Aubrey sneaking Andy in the car to take to North Carolina...ahhhh, Papa wants his dog back!

Breakfast with Grannie Great!

Love from my Mommie...

I hate that we missed Granddaddy!

We enjoyed time from Grandma Marilyn and Papa Ed.

Lunch at Guthrie's and then to campus.

Toomer's Corner

One tired little "Tiger Fan"!

Fall leaves!

Mimi...Aubrey had to wear her new clothes...she loves them.

Now we have lost the game, we have both Polliwogs snug in the bed. A little more visiting, then to bed. Then home here we come. We have had a great time in Alabama...but we are whooped.
So, as this pendulum has swung one way we are ready to swing back the other direction in the morning.
