Little Lil 3 month

Lillian is such a joy!  She has done well with daycare! Only one cold with ear infection!  

She loves her bath time!  She loves to kick in the water!

We get a kick out of her funny faces!

This is a common face..."Turtle Lips" is what we say!

All round, she is a happy girl!

When I was pregnant I sat this aside in hopes of another girl!  I took a picture of this and sent it to my dear friend Melissa!  She quickly replied...that boy will look cute in it!  I am happy this darling little girl gets to wear this!  My grandmother made this for me!

Her she is wearing a beautiful hat that Monica made, she is soooo talented!!

Now we are moving on to four months!

A little catch up.

So Thursday, I ran and got the girls while I left Jamie resting!  After I picked up Aubrey I glanced beside me and this is who I saw, this beautiful wise child.  Where did she come from?
While I got diner going she worked on homework.

After diner she read to Lil while I checked on Jamie, she is such a big help!

Friday, we were still fighting this bug from the other end...and where cleaning like crazy!  Jamie even got a new toothbrush!  No more yucky germs!!

Lil is just like the other Pollies...I find her things out place too!  She fits right in!

Aub has spent a lot of time at my sink avoiding germs!  Oh boy, when the 10 year old moves in on your space!

Heating up bottles has been a creative challenge at times...

but she is a happy girl...really! Lol!

This weather has been nuts!  

Gymnastics has been a challenge for sweet Aubs, but she is hanging in there!

Lil has moved into her room and we seem to be moving in the right directions as far as sleeping through the night!

Think again...Sista!

Right after making this post yesterday...

I got a call from school, Jamie was throwing up & I needed to come get him.  So I rushed over with some clean clothes. As I rushed over I called the Peds Clinic back and got Jamie in...imagine the look on Dr. Goldbach's face...he took one look and said..."you again"!  Jamie said, yup...and began his grussom story with every detail for the poor man and his little black bag!

As I rushed to school I was trying to reschedule commitments for the afternoon while listening to durn "Zippity Doo-da" on the leftover Disney from the prior ride in...I wasn't feel it!!!

We went through the visit, grabbed a prescription, stuck by a transformer sticker "the bad guy"...and headed back to Mebane...to isolation!

Oh, one more thing...at school, his shoes basically "got a little dirty", so I stopped at the house for another pair...I rushed in his dark room!  When I looked in the lobby...I was mortified...mismatching shoes!  Dr. Goldbauch's last commit to Jamie was..."cool shoes man"!

At 9:30... As I fed Lil, I looked across the room and this what I saw!  Aub rushing through her homework and Steve studying emails and prioritizing his next day!  Things were finally calm and we were getting closer to bed!  

Lil, did great this morning, Aub went with Steve and I got Jamie settled in for a long day in bed, he was running a fever and he was going to be bored once again!  

I ran my coffee while I ran Lil in for the day!  I am so glad I can take her in, to separate everyone from Jamie!

But, this to will pass...and I will be yelling at him to calm down!  For now Spider-Man makes a great companion!

As for other news on the home front...this silly rubber band craze, not only do I vacuum them up, constantly...they have made their way to the litter pan!  That's right, the cats are eating them!  Uggg, we are having to be more careful!!

As for my new year resolution..."Operation Simplification...less is more"...is about to make me bald!!!  I am still working hard at weaving out the unnecessary, but focusing on what counts, but these hormones seem to have jumped on the less is more bandwagon too!

As for today, we are still taking things hour by hour...sip by sip!

Cleaning up the pieces

Today I am jumping back in...

Today is my day off, the day where I clean and pull the house back together...much like this photo, cleaning up the crumbs...or picking up the pieces!  

However, it is the second day back to school after break, and there is another two hour delay, and Aubrey has developed a rash.  Her diagnois...fifths disease...random, but not contagious at this point.  So, she and Jamie are back at school.  

Little Lil, is at daycare.  She was thankful for the delay.  She slept until about 7:50.  She has been doing great in the afternoons, no true bewitching times the past days.  Here she is sleeping last night as we wrapped up the homework and bath times.

Since she has entered this world we have been like a washing machine swirling in all directions.  This week, we have just about taken back the control, and we have made it to the spin cycle where we are all together in one motion.  Yes, I need to jump up and get going on my chores!  

Glad to be back on the blog...loving the new groove of three pollies!

Junior Scout

This year Aubrey is a Junior Scout!

I am not leading this year, due to sweet Lillian I stopped and Aubrey wanted to continue!  I am so proud of her to continue without me at her side, honestly I think she likes it better that way!

She officially bridged over again!

Here she earned her cooking badge, she cooked breakfast! She even burned her fingers, thank goodness for the aloe plant!   It was much needed!

Just remember this cutie will be tapping at your door pretty soon with cookies for sale!

Wonderful weekend

We had a busy weekend, Friday night we meet Steven at the lab and took him to dinner and drug him over to the gymnastic meet at UNC.  It was fun to see the gymnast in a relaxed atmosphere where they were competing against themselves.   Some of our favorites have returned and a few retired girls were in the stands to cheer them on, Aubrey got to see her favorite from last year, Elizabeth!  Lillian did really well as we were out and about, Jamie played his DS and hung out with us.

Lillian is such an easy baby, I am do thankful she is so flexible with our schedule.

This was Jamie's homework on Thursday, he was thankful for soldiers and Jesus!  I am so blessed that he would think to draw this instead of something silly like ketchup!

He really is an awesome little fellow!

Here is one of our favorite girls, Haley Watts, she really awesome and we are glad she is back!

This was a typical Saturday morning pre-Lillian! Now 7wks, and we are all back at Reeds for coffee and hot cocoa!

It felt so good!

After a long day of work, we decided to start a little fire and make hotdogs and s'mores as and end to our outdoor fun, and begin our hibernation period!  We have new neighbors that moved in an what better way to get together and play!

And again Lillian was a trooper!
