"Get off our boat".-Jamie Gray

Honk, honk...this is your captain speaking!
If you were sailing your boat anywhere near our Congo...(aka Condo) you may have heard
a little Captain named Jamie yelling at you to get off our boat!
Jamie wanted to ride every boat that came by.
Papa rounded up the guys and asked Mr. Walt to take them out fishing on the boat.
Here are a few pictures from their outing.

Uncle David there to the right in the green.

This is Mr. Barnes, he went along with the men.
 Uncle David again,
Uncle Tyler, with a Gillian hat...and Uncle Todd there off to the side.
They caught a few fish not much.

Uncle Todd, had a shark there for a little bit, it broke the line just before making it on the boat.

I believe those are the oil rigs in back ground.
Yup, you guessed it, Papa working on the phone again.

I am guessing he was loving the cool breeze from the waves.
Jamie ate an entire case of crackers.
Papa finally relaxing...aka no cell service!
Still looking for a fish...Tyler in the blue, thought he had a huge fish,
come to find out...he hooked to the motor.
All this fishing put Jamie to sleep.

 Sweet boy.
The guys were zonked after a long day in the Gulf.

A day later, a few of us gals had an opportunity to take a twirl in the Gulf.
I have a lot more photos than what Steven provided from the guys day at sea.

We jumped up on a raining morning and asked Mr. Walt if he would please take us for a ride.
With a late minute decision we took off.  We battle the storms and had a blast.

Aubrey stayed right up top for most of the trip.

 This motor had power...

One happy girl.

Piper took a little bit to warm up to the boat.

Me on the other hand, I really enjoyed the views from the side of the boat
and that is what I will share with you.

There is the "Lulu's", that is the marina/restaurant
owned by Jimmy Buffet's sister, Lucy Buffet.

There now, she relaxing a little bit!  Go, Piper girl!

Look at the barges going along beside us, Aubrey liked to make them honk their horns.
How did she do it you ask...just like you would a semi!

 Getting close to the Wharf.

 There is the toll bridge.

Check out the "Yachts for Snots", just kidding but man they were fancy.

Steven our anniversary is coming up in a few days and I was thinking...Lol!
Huh, remember that Goldie Hawn/Kurt Russell movie, Overboard,
it was from 1987, I always wanted a Yacht.

Yes Aubrey, that is what rain looks like.

I was thinking, I might could take your boat for a spin, sir!
Race boats, in a no wake zone...sad sight.
Oh, there is the bridge by the Congo.

There is the beach that we took pictures at the other night.
Look at the brave peeps jumping off the base of the bridge.

Aubrey taking us for a little spin.

Can you see the white caps on the post so the birds can not perch on the pier?

Looks like there is a little NOLA influence on ONO ISLAND.

Look who is standing, but still holding on to Mom.
 Oh, look another water tower.

Tacky Jack's...maybe we will see this place again.

How about a trip into the Gulf?
I mean just a little twirl, nothing major.

 Those waves were rocking.

On our way back we were dodging a storm, which made for neat pictures.

Up...someone made there way back up into Mom's lap.

 Aubrey was having a blast.

Oh, that is a sweet Dunkling power hug in the rain!

We made it out of the storm.

 Back past the Wharf.
 Under the bridge.

 Back by the barges.

 Pasted LuLu's again.

This is some where around Bon Secour.

 Ready to park the boat.

Just look at the Spanish Moss on the trees.  I love it.

I believe Aubrey could get use to the beach and boating life.

That is all for our boat rides...but there will be more from the beach to come.
Check out tomorrow's post...we have another adventure to unseal.

All aboard.
