This past weekend,
We loaded up the Pollies and headed West to the Mountains.
We joined our friends from church.
We all stayed in this huge house in Boone.
We had 5 families,
and plenty of room for everyone.
I decorated our Pollie-wagon for our fun family weekend.
Let me let you in on our adventure.
That is right...a big red nose!
Any other time you would never catch me doing this,
but isn't funny what you would do for your Pollies?
Friday night everyone gathered up at the cabin,
the little kiddos had a blast with all of the space
Once we wrangled and wriggled them into the bed,
it was parent time in the playroom.
We just relaxed and enjoyed the moment of not doing anything but spending
time with our families and making memories these children will always remember.
After our little bit of rest...the little feet hit the floor!
We even got to see the sunrise...thank you, Jamie!
After an awesome breakfast,
that few guys cooked for everyone we were out of the house by a little after 9:00.
Amazing, for 10 adults, and 11 children.
We headed out on the great adventure in pursuit of the best Christmas Tree ever!
We made our way to Brown's Christmas Tree Farm.
Meet Buck,
he his such a super star, or at least with our Pollies.
Mr. Brown loaded up all of these little tree seekers.
And they were off...to a world of trees!
They were excited!
Mom...is taking to long!
Yesh...my shadow was kinda interesting,
I just could not leave her behind!
It was hard work chasing these excited Pollies.
Aubrey with her sweet friend,
we love her so much,
she attends another school,
so usually we get to catch up with her at church.
Here Stacy and I are playing photo war in the trees!
Smile!
Who knew there were swords all in these trees?
A little battle...
this went on for a few minutes, but as you can guess...
we had to stop this before it got to nasty.
Then it was our turn...
Here she is...just waiting to go home with our Pollies.
There she goes!
A "G" marks the spot!
What a beautiful, amazing place.
Time with Buck.
Time to go and load up our tree!
Then they wrapped the tree!
Then we loaded all the trees on Rich's truck,
he has a brilliant red truck, and the trees even made it more prettier.
Or maybe these goof-balls, made the truck look better...naaa, the trees!
These boys, are future tree farmers,
amazing what they already know.
Here we all are.
Our precious families.
It means so much to be apart of such an amazing group of
families, it this is not even all of our sunday school class.
We missed our families that could not make it.
Silly Pictures!
Then I was on the hunt for perfect wreath,
boy did I luck out!
I am in love!
I think someone else fell in love too!
I think he found a little Christmas Donkey.
He tried to talk the wreath maker into letting him take him home.
He said the donkey could sit in his lap on the way home!
He said the donkey could sit in his lap on the way home!
After the tree farm, we headed back to the house for lunch and naps.
Then we made our little reindeer krispy treets!
Mrs. Tammy was a huge help!
For dinner we headed downtown for the Daniel Boone Inn,
it was amazing. I have to tell you they were ready for us.
Thank you Ryan for being such an amazing planner!
Look at the light fixtures, they are buckets!
Cute.
Then after dinner we took our curvy way back to the house.
What a sweet touch to the entrance!
Then we dressed in our pj's and put the little feet back to bed.
Then we were back to reality Sunday morning at 6:00am.
Those little feet hit the floor once again.
Oh, these are some left overs from dinner,
thanks to Mrs. H, we had left overs, she brought zip lock bags!
Then it was time to load those Pollies back up and head back home.
Those reindeer taste soooo good!
Sunday afternoon, this special child delivered our tree!
I love-love-love this kid!
He is amazing!
This is where I am going to leave you...
she is standing!
This was an amazing get away,
thank you Ryan for all your hard work!
We love you all and are so blessed to have you all in our life.
