It is time, Peter.

Dear Sweet Peter,
Thank you, for coming to visit. Thank you for all that you have taught us.
We have had an incredible time, learning about you.
However, today is the day that you need to go back home.
We hope to see you around when we are out playing.
Peter, you are always welcome at the Gray House.
Aubrey had a tough day knowing that you were going back home.
Remember the sweet melodies she sang to you.

Remember the pep-talks you both had.
When you are lonely, remember she is always thinking of you.

Aubrey always keep this tenderness, this is real.
This is a special treasure that you own, never give it way, it is real special.

Daddy tried really hard to distract you today,
the truth is that he was sad too!

You did a great job studying him,
keeping him watered and fed, checking his weight, and being an awesome friend.

Peter will not forget you sweet child as you will not
forget this incredible life lesson of having to let go.
This has also reminded Daddy and I of the decisions you will make in life
and when you will hop in new directions. We know that
not much will hold you back, but you will continue to leap forward into
your beautiful journey of life, much like Peter.

You and Daddy did a brave thing today, releasing Peter back.
We are so very proud that you wanted to be the one to let him go.
You are so brave, strong and wise.
One last kiss and he is on his way.

Peter is safe and happy to be back were he belongs.
As are you sweet child, you are safe and loved so much by your
Daddy and I. Always know were are always here for you.

Have sweet, sweet dreams tonight. We love you very much.
