It is the journey that shapes us.

We have had a awesome day in the Lord's House.
This is our church, Mebane United Methodist Church.
This mornings worship service was full of much love and joy.
Today was the day that Aubrey was presented her Bible from our church and church family.
This is done at the beginning of the 3rd grade year.
This was an exciting worship service for her.
This is one of Aubrey's close friends from school,
and she received her Bible this morning too.

I found this to be a very tender moment,
with our pastor and our young spirits.

We also had another very special moment in our church family.
One set of close friends from our Sunday School Class, the Schaub family,
joined our church, and Hayden and Amelia were baptized.
When I saw Hayden this morning, in Sunday School, he said
"Hey Jamie's Mom, I am getting baptized today!"
He was so excited!

What a sweet moment of sweet Amelia and her Aunt.

Hayden and Amelia's walk down the aisle to meet everyone with their new name
"Christian", what beautiful moment in a young man's life.

This is our pastor, Rev. Dr. Bryan Faggart.
He is so sweet to the Pollies, he is always getting down at their level to speak with them.
Aubrey loves both and Rev. Jan Thornton-Ivrine and Pastor Bryan so much.

This morning service was beautiful.
I could not help but to take notes to share with you.
Pastor Bryan spoke saying,
"We bloom where we are planted"!
Perfect words for today.
He went on to say,
"It is the journey that shapes us."
He spoke about making right choices,
and in order to grow and do that we would make wrong choices.
He stated several times,
"We are formed in the image of Christ, and we are meant to serve others."
Today's message was about the Journey of Spiritual Formation.
How perfect, with all that took place.

Happy girls with their Bibles.

After church we headed out to lunch today.

Aubrey is really excited for her first day, she is packing her new school bag.

I think this is going to be an awesome week.
