Thank you Veterans...

Today was a good day. I had to take the day off since Aubrey was out of school. So, we decided to have a girl day. We got up and spent sometime at the Darragh's. Then, we went by the food bank and dropped off a donation that our neighborhood collected. After that we headed to the golden arches for lunch. Jenn Scott and Chloe joined us there. It was great to play in the indoor playroom. I think that the girls released a lot of energy. So, then we headed to the movies. We went to see "Where the wild things are". It was good, the girls we not scared. Aubrey actually cried. She is sensitive...she gets that honest. We had Zoe, Chloe, Dianna, and Aubrey, and we made it through the movie no problem. After the movie we came home and started painting and drawing. The girls were really good, they are so funny to listen to. It is cute to listen to them tease one another about boys and who can do what. Jamie spend the day with Jen Darragh and her normal daily crew. However, her crew is still fighting the flu. Jen actually had to make a run into the doctor this morning. Poor Abby is fighting the flu this week.

So, our Veterans day has been good. We are really thankful for those men and women who are fighting and have fought for us.

Last, so last week we told you about Aubrey's prayer chain. It is going long pretty well. She has caught on pretty well. The few things that she has added to chain has been: Dill, the house, people and kids, Indians (I think that they are talking about Indians at school with Thanksgiving coming up), sick kids...especially Abby and old people. These are the important things that she has felt the need to pray for. So, as you can see that we are learning a lot from this challenge as she is. More importantly, we are stopping to listen to her and what is important to her.
