Counting many blessing...and knowing that they are there!

Good morning y'all...hehe!  I am in a giddy mood this morning.  We have snuck away to Grandma & Grandpa Gray's for the holiday weekend.  We had a long...long...long trip here.  We left Friday after work, around 5:00.  The Pollies were so excited about our adventure.  About half way into the trip we go stuck, literally.  There had been a terrible wreck on the interestate in the mountains, right at the NC/TN boarder.  I "heard" through the truckers and people talking that it was a 10 car pile-up a long with 2 semi's jack-knived.  They had a real hard time getting emergency vehicles to the accident.  I am sure that there were some major injuries, we had a 2 1/2 hour wait, so we cut the car off and took a nap!  We were stuck.  We definately count this as a blessing, that we were not involved or harmed in the accident. It was a blessing that Aubrey felt the need to have pray time for the people involved, I am so thankful she understands the power of prayer, and how wonderful our God is.

This brings me to something that has weighed hard on my heart, these past few weeks.  I would like to invite you the this website to visit :  The Mouro Family.  This is an amazing story, and this family continues to need your prayers.  The husband was a physician in the clinic where I work, our clinic has lifted them up high in prayer.  Their family has a new story to add to their life, that is a true testiment in the power of prayer.  Please spend time reading this blog, and watch the day-to-day progress.  Those of you with small children will be in tears, I promise!  Our God is an amazing God!

I again, would like to re-recommend the book I read a month a go,
Choosing to SEE: A Journey of Struggle and Hope -
By: Mary Beth Chapman, Ellen Vaughn

this is another amazing story.

Many things in the past month have happened that continued to awe us, things that started out worrying us that then ended up OK - we take these as wonderful blessings.
Dad and his surgery/heartattack, Aunt Ro Ro and her blessing, the birth of sweet Reese Monroe,Ms. Norma with her surgery/heart attack,The Mouro family, it is amazing.  I am sure that I am leaving out something, however I know how blessed we all are.

Which brings me to another book I am reading:
Product Details  I will leave the story to you.  Just know, it is a different kind of bucket list!
It has me really thinking, and praising God for the many blessings that we recieve.

I have had it on my heart to share my thoughts in a post, it has just been difficult finding the time this week to sit and share.  However, we are having a little down time here at Grandma's and Grandpa's, it is so nice!
