Our trip...

The Biltmore was beautiful. We really enjoyed it. However, Aubrey was a little disappointed. There was no princess. She understood that there was a castle, but where was Ariel's room? For the most part she behaved. It was a little boring for her, however she had her leapster and it was good to keep her occupied.

We went with Janelle and Nate, some close friends from work. They brought Caiden along also. He and Jamie are about a month apart. It is neat to compare milestones with the two, they both have grown so fast.

The actual castle was beautiful. We only saw a small portion, the place is huge. Most of the rooms still aren't opened for viewing. We could not take pictures inside, so this is all we could share. We went to the winery that they have on the estate. It was nice. When we finished that it was dark and we drove back through to see it lit up at night. It was just so pretty. It was a nice trip. The polliwogs slept all the back to Mebane.

The pictures of the kids are TOOOOOO Cute !!!! I've already printed them out and they're on the frig. I love the "pilgrim dress" and the "jon jons". Daddy and Grandpa Bernie have no sense of tradition and style!!??

Also, the last photo of Aubrey sleeping is a hoot. She looks like she's been out all night on sugar binge.

Love you all.
