Today was a fast day at work. It seemed as though we were slinging patients in and out of the waiting room. Steven swung by and we walked to the car together, that was nice! Kinda like a mini date. We don't get those to often. We should plan to have lunch together, then we would not have to shovel food while helping kids.
So, tonight I thought that I would share a few things about Jamie. You know more of what is going on with Aubrey, let me brag on Jamie. He is beginning to form opinions. When he doesn't like something he will swat at you and make a (mmmmm) noise. That means ( No thank you) :)! We are trying to correct that. He is saying "Doe"...which is NO, while throwing his arm out whatever...the cat, the bush, etc. "Dat"is a biggie right now. He loves to point and say "Dat" for, that. He loves Baby...he points at the picture up the stairs and say Baby to all 8 along the wall. Please don't skip one!!! And BALL...that is another favorite.
His favorite thing, would be his blankey...he takes it all around and cuddles with it. It is really sweet. His MOST favorite things are...SHOES. Do not leave your shoes lying around, he expects you to put them on, or he may try were them on his feet, or sometimes on his hands. We put our shoes on the stairs to go up, it is like eye candy, it kills him, he has to get them down. At daycare when you enter the infant room you have to take your shoes off. The director usually leaves her shoes off inside the door. However, Jamie has reconditioned her to leave them outside the room. Jamie constantly brings them to her. When I walk in to get him from his class. Sometimes I notice that he sees my feet first and recongizes my shoes and then looks up with a smile. The other night after I got him out of the tub, I dried him off and let him run. He ran straight to his room and grabbed his shoes and came in the hall to put them on. It was the cutest thing seeing a naked baby trying to put on shoes. We are not really sure about this little fetish, however it has lasted for a long time.
He has grown so fast. He is trying to keep up with Aubrey as much as possible. We have to remind her that he is still little. So, that is a little Jamie update.

Abby has a foot fettish as well. She does the same thing with the shoes if you leave them lying around. The two of them together in a few weeks should be very interesting!
