Girls Night Out

So, we have these Dance friends, Chase, Haley and their mother Melissa. Melissa is a real dear friend. To have grown up so far apart, you would have thought we were sisters in the way that we think. September will be 2 years that we have lived in Mebane. I have known her from the beginning. Aubrey and Chase took tumble together. Chase is about 9 months older than Aubrey. After dance we like to try and take the girls to dinner. It is fun and a nice treat.

This week was the 1st time we got the girls together since the dance recital. It was fun. We meet up at Sonic. They have what I call a grocery story ride. You know the kind you put 50 cents in. Well we bring a bag of quarters and let the girls ride forever. It is nice to be able to sit and talk.
So, we met there for dinner. Then we went back to her home to swim. Aubrey had a blast.

Here are a few things that happened last night and struck me as kind of funny. At one point a woman came up and asked me for "singles." Yeah, I didn't know what she wanted either. Turned out that she needed to swap her one dollar bill for one that the vending machine would accept. She wasn't foreign, just "country." After explaining the singles, Melissa went on to tell me that a "case quarter" is an actual quarter, rather than 2 dimes and a nickel etc. The things I'm learning...

Here's a few pictures from last night.
