Meet Mrs. Jean.

This is Mrs. Jean. She is Jamie's teacher. She is always writing notes about how Jamie plays with his friends, talks and coos. She is really loving our angel. She has been at Kindercare for 12+ years and we are really lucky to have her as Jamie's teacher. She has him on a true schedule and it makes it easy for us at night. He is so exhausted by 7:30!

Aubrey also loves Mrs. Jean. Since we drop the kids off so early, Aubrey's teacher isn't there yet and she gets to spend 5-10 minutes each morning in the infants' room with Mrs. Jean. Every time Aubrey brings a new animal to school or a flower from her garden, she has to show Mrs. Jean even if we get there late enough that the older kids' room is open.

The dog in the picture is Aubrey's new favorite toy. It came with a "Barbie Veterinary Kit" that has nothing to do with Barbie except that it was written on the box. But it does have some vet equipment and the dog makes different noises based on what she is doing. On Sunday we loaded up the family for a shopping trip to Wal-Mart, and since Aubrey had been really good while Daddy went to work most of the day, she got to pick out a toy. It was so hard for her to decide among all the aisles of toys, but eventually she settled on this. There was no price so we gambled... it was $30 so she really lucked out! Oh well, with her birthday right next to Christmas this is a dry time of year for new toys, and with how much she loves it I think it was worth it. She's played with it 3 days straight, which makes it a winner. And she cooperates and turns the dog off during naps and bedtime.
