Yesterday after work I took a few minutes to run into Tuesday Morning to look around before picking up the polliwogs. Steven has lab meeting on Wednesdays and I wait to pick him up. So, I had a few minutes to burn. It is odd to shop with out children, I almost feel NAKED! It is nice not to say stop..don't...put it up...no, not today. However, I never really buy anything, I really like to browse.
After I got the kids, we headed back to Mebane. We did past the pig truck again. There is this truck with farm pigs on it, and Aubrey gets a kick out of seeing them. We usually see it on the way home. She doesn't know what they are doing, or where they are going. However, Steven and I act like we are the pigs and pick at her. She will talk with the pigs all the way home. She likes to pick back at them. Sometimes the pigs will tell here silly things like "Little Girl, your belly button is square", "Hey little Girl...you have green hair", just crazy stuff. Often she likes to tell the pigs "Hey pigs...your tail don't have any curl"! She gets a kick out of this. This is our way of entertaining her, on the ride home. Sometimes she wants to play tic-tac-toe, so we tell her she has to play with Jamie. You think that would be hard...but she says if he blinks his x goes on the top right, if he burps, it goes on the bottom left. If he poops it goes on in the very middle. So, she starts to make burping noises so he can play. Oh, the silly stuff we do. Yesterday, she got into drawing sharks, you know that was right up Steven's allie. He loved sea animals growing up.
So, last night when we got home we ate and Steven ran out to do some grocery shopping for the weekend. Yes...back to WalMart. I got the polliwogs cleaned and ready for bed. Aubrey watched tv while I gave Jamie a bottle. Steven made it home in time to put Aubrey to sleep.
This weekend we are headed to the Mountains. We are meeting Grandma Marilyn, Papa Ed, Uncle Kyle, and Uncle Chris with his new friend. We are really excited. We are planning to take Aubrey to DollyWood, she has been calling it DollyHood. She is all excited. When we get back, Sara and Joel are coming over to spend the night, Monday. They are in North Carolina for a wedding, Sarah's brother is getting married. They will be scoping out the area, since they will be moving here. We are not sure when, but before the Super Bowl, we know that much. The last time we watched the Super Bowl with them was when Janet Jackson had her slip-up. Wow, that has been a long time.
Anyway, we have a lot of packing to get done tonight. We are traveling with an infant again. Too Much Stuff!
