Out of the house...

This afternoon we decided to go for a little spin through the neighborhood. Aubrey is a little rusty and she wanted to dust off the chains. So, we went for a brief ride after Jamie's nap time. Jamie had more energy than Aubrey this afternoon, so he and I went a bit longer. He was funny though, he told me it was raining, 'cause he was wet. I explained to him that it was not raining, that he was sweating. --Babes

Jamie has the art of "STOPPING" down.
After our ride, Jamie and I did a quick walk to the neighbors who live close by, sharing our tomatoes. Jamie loved ringing the doorbells. Steven thought it was funny I came back with 2 bottles of white wine. Ms. Cindy sent them home as a trade!! I thought that it was a lop-sided trade, but I wasn't going to argue. We really love our neighbors and we are blessed with such a great crop of tomatoes this year. What a great reason to go visiting!!!
The Pollies finished dinner before we could get a couple of bites down. They were wild and we were wanting them to settle down, so we asked Aubrey to read to Jamie. That was a great solution. They sat and read while Steven and I ate...ahhhh!
As for me, I am sitting in here in the bed with Steven asleep, finishing up one more episode of "I Love Lucy". I am looking forward to spending the afternoon playing with the Pollies this week. Before long, we will rushing out to our activities! Have a great week!
