The end of this perfect Mother's Day!

The Schwartz's came for a beautiful afternoon on this Mother's Day! We are so lucky to have them so close again. The kids played outside while we cooked and gathered things up for dinner.

Jamie playing Dukes of Hazzard! Not really but...what do you think??

We finally sat down for a great dinner! Hotdogs and Steaks! What great Dad's.
At the end of dinner we heard something.
We heard the ice cream truck entering the neighborhood, we were begging Aubrey to hurry and eat! We knew that once she heard it would be over. It was, completely over! She could hardly get it out. You could see it her eyes when she heard it. I looked at her and said "shhh.." , looked said "but, mom it's". I said "Shhhhh..." She said "ice..."! I said, "Aubrey, shhhhh..."! Then it was over.... she screamed, "ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!".....KATIE HURRY....!!!! Then they tore around to the front of the house in hopes of seeing the ice cream truck. Now, this is the first time we have seen the ice cream truck this year! Also, this is the first time Katie has seen the truck period! What a great end of the day!!! They all were so happy, even Steven and Joel!

Everyone rushed to the truck to stop it!

Joel got his favorite ice cream from when he was a child! "WAS??" Ha! What a treat!

Jamie loved it so much he was taking bites!

Mikeala ate hers in the sandbox, yumm!!
Strawberry was the ice cream the girls decided on!!!
The girls ate theirs right away and headed back to play!
Have a great night and to all you mother's, I hope you had a great day like me!!
