Have you missed us???
We have been bit busy but not too bad. Monday night Aubrey had her party for soccer. It was fun, she is so happy to have another trophy. She now has 5 and she has to tell everyone about each one. Jamie had a great time. He walked and walked and walked and walked...all over the field. I think that he has it down. Here she is getting her trophy from coach AJ. He has been her coach for the past two seasons. Can you believe that it is time to sign up for fall soccer, whew...time just jets by. So, when school starts she will be all set up. So, the kids and dads played one another. Of coarse the kids won!! Something like 2-1!! I think that they had a great time. So, Aubrey had her hair cut yesterday. She loves it. However, she made me sad. When she sat in the chair to have it cut, she looked in the mirror at me and said "Mom, you can have a sit now!" "I can do this by myself." Lord, she is growing up on me... I want to put her in a envelope an keep it sealed. Tomorrow is her last day at Kindercare. She is having cake for her friends. This is the cake that she and the lady designed. She is so excited. Tomorrow will be sad, however...another milestone. She is heading to Alabama on Saturday to visit or "Go on Tour" as we call it. Watch out Thomasville...hunker down!! Here are the strawberries that Jamie, Aubrey and Steven picked this afternoon. What are we going to do with all these strawberries when she is gone.
After dinner I wanted to go on a walk, and she wanted to ride her bike. So, out we all went. She had seen the ice cream truck, she ran in to get some money. She missed it and she was really bummed. So, we went in the direction that the truck went. No luck, we missed it. So, after out venture out, Steven took her on a Daddy/Daughter Date to Sonic for ice cream. On the way there she asked were they going to Sonic? He did not answer her. He just gave her the money she had gotten for the truck. The she screamed out..."Are we going to chase the ice cream truck???" He laughed and pulled into Sonic. What a great Dad! On our outting they had to stop for Honeysuckle. She gets a kick out of this. I think that Jamie really wanted to get out and get some. So, that is us in a nutshell this week. We are excited that tomorrow is Friday, however tearful, that is the last day before Aubrey heads down south.
Hey guys! I love Aubrey's new hair-do. I have never thought she looked much like Steven until that picture. You can see alot of him in her now!! Maybe while she is "on tour" we will get to see her! Jill keeps asking for a playdate with Aubrey.
