Wow...we have had a blast.

We left Mebane, NC about 10:30am our time and got her 9:00pm our time. It was a really long day Friday. The Polliwogs did great! Aubrey never fell asleep, she is so stubborn, she just watched movies the entire time. She was really good, Jamie was perfect also. About 20 minutes from Nikki's house Jamie began to be tired of the riding. He was tired of the car seat, so that was rough, however we made it. We are up out early. We don't want to leave to early, we don't want to hit rush hour in Atlanta. We have had a great time and got see lots of family. Here is just a small view into our visit.

Here is Aubrey starting to eat lunch with Katie and Jill, my cousins' children. Not everyone was here this weekend. We missed our Aunt DI, mother's sister. She and Uncle Gerry were not here and their son Nick, his wife Synda, and little one, Keira were all not able to come. We also missed Charleton and Anna Beth, then Jamie, Eli and Luke were all busy. Then Michael and Dalton were at the doctor's office. However, we still had a great time. I am so thankful that I was able to see who I could. I miss everyone being so far away. Maybe we can see them next year.

Here is my "Brother-Uncle Don". He is my uncle and he is a pastor, the family pastor.
Next to him is Dylan, my cousin Ashley's youngest child.

This is Ashley. She and I are close in age and were drug through most of the stores in South West Alabama, along with Nikki.

Here is little Nikki at the big girl table with our cousins Donna and Leigh Ann.

Aunt RoRo brought beads for the girls to play with. It is Mardi Gras season down here. So, in all the stores there are a Mardi Gras sections everywhere. As a matter of fact, Nikki picked up a King Cake today at the store. WOW...it has been awhile. Chad, I think that it must have been one of yours or Melissa's that Steven and I had last. This one is a little dry, however it is the novelty of the cake. Steven doesn't think that there is a baby in it, there was not a warning on the box. We just can't get these in North Carolina.
The girls had fun playing on the air mattress that Mom brought up here for Aubrey.

So, along with the ornament exchange that we do every year, Steven and I brought these Christmas Lamps for every family. They are kinda funny. They are pop-up campers and we thought that it would funny for everyone to have one. We hope that you all enjoy these and laugh each year. Maybe it will remind you of Cousin Eddy in Christmas vacation.

OK, yeah, we found this lady sitting on top of Nikki's cabinets. She is funny. Apparently she has a lot of sentimental value to David (Nikki's husband). She looked over David in the hospital after his motor cycle wreck while he was in the hospital. She now looks over them.

Here we are...missing Nick! Hear-no,See-no and speak-no.

Here are Mom and Harry, Uncle Don and Aunt RoRo.
Nikki and David.
The next generation. Some of them.
And look who popped in! Yeah, Susanne! She is my closed friend from childhood. She and I need to write a book. Anyway, she came and spent the night with us.
So, when we arrived Friday night, Nikki had been working on a puzzle for 2 weeks. Saturday morning we hid it while everyone was here. Then when everyone left they drug it back out. Steven was so excited to do this. It has been awhile since he has done a puzzle.

They finished as Susanne and I caught up.
Oh, my! Nikki had bought this clemontines. Aubrey has ate 10 I am sure.
Here is Nikki and Daisy-her pooch!
Steven and Jamie sacked out this morning.

Aubrey woke Susanne up this morning. Daisy got Nikki up, so they were up partying when I came downstairs.
Aubrey and Daisy have become big pals.
Jamie on the other hand has been exploring. Move over Daisy!

He was putting the food in the water. Then splashing in the water.

Until he dropped his pacifer, then he decided he would take a bite! Yuck! We had to stop there.
Yeah, a little too much fun!
He wanted to play in the dog food bowl.

He forgot pretty easy!

Oh, here is a picture of the pop-up camper! Cute huh, I know not really my taste either, but they had so many and I could buy one for everyone!
Aubrey and the oranges!!!
So, Dad brought Tami and her two sons here today. They are Todd and Tyler. They will be my future brothers SOON! We were excited to meet them. They are very nice young men and we look forward to spending more time with them.
They came to take Aubrey. She is staying in Alabama for a few weeks to visit her grandparents here. She has a great time. She doesn't even act sad when she leaves, she is such a big, brave girl!

Susanne headed back to Birmingham after lunch. She had other oblagations for this evening. It was great seeing her!
Wii Time! So, yeah, the boys are going to fit right in!

Aubrey enjoys playing also!

Now we are watching a movie, and relaxing. We are heading out pretty early and look forward to climbing in our bed tomorrow night. Thank you Nikki for being great hostess. Thank you everyone for coming to Nikki's to visit. We appreciate you making time for us. We love you all.

It was so fun, I simply can't imagine why that store had so many of those pop up campers left. Dalton asked if he could keep it in his room next year. I told you he would love it. I wish we had more time to visit. I miss yall and hope yall can get closer. That's what I'll pray for:)
