The Golden Trophy

Whew! We made it through the recital. However, we had a rough start. "My child", the only one out of 15 on stage, would not rise out of her flower pot! Someone had made her mad. They did not put her in the right pot, and she would not dance her ballet. She sat in her pot almost the entire time with her back to the audience. She got out to walk off. She returned to dance as they finished. However, the tumble, tap and finale was great, I was really proud. She was really proud of her trophy! She and Grandma Robin celebrated with "Shervert" not sherbet. Nikki and David also went with us. They froze the entire time. We are done with dance for a few months.

I have to say "Thank you Mrs. Cindy and Aimee!" They graciously asked if they could watch Jamie for us. That was like a brick was lifted off of me. That way Nikki and Robin could actual watch the recital. They are angels.

We got up this morning and got Aubrey packed. Sorry grand-parents, she has 4 backs. Good luck, she even brought her makeup bag! We got Nikki, David and Aubrey to the airport! Aubrey should be in T'ville by 10:00pm.

Tomorrow is my first day back. I am ready to see everyone. It will be interesting to see how rusty my brain is. Hopefully, it won't take long. Jamie and Grandma Robin, will have a great day together.

-Cheers
