This was a post I intended to make right after I got here, but this is my first chance. Just saw a few things in my first impression of Europe that I wanted to share. First, when I left the US all the airport signs were in English and Spanish. When I got to Madrid, the airport looked mostly the same, with all the signs in English and Spanish. I did notice a few things that were funny to me. Like they say "Way Out" instead of Exit. There was a yogurt vending machine in the airport (Dannon). Finally, a Ben and Jerry's billboard in Spanish was worth a picture. I was surprised to see a lot of the same brands here as in the US. Guess we're in a world market.
