Tonight Aubrey wanted to help do chores. So tonight is trash night, and that was her big chore. She got paid tonight, and Steve helped her count all of her money. She is already packing it in her purse. She has $19 that she's saved since buying Meriposa. The little stinker, she is getting more than I would have thought. She started thinking about what to spend it on, but we convinced her to hold on to it until there's something she really wants. Good girl. Steve explained that if she holds on to it, she'll already have the money when she "needs" something, and she won't have to wait to save up next time. It made sense to her today, we'll see if it burns a hole in her pocket :)
Tomorrow is soccer practice, and Friday is her first game of the fall. Unless the hurricane gets us, that is. This time we're the ones on the lookout.
